Black History Month
Here’s to black history month. CNN has made the effort to keep us informed. I shared their information one time before and will share again in celebration of black history. The great thing about life is that as people you do not have to wait another moment to impact a life in a postive way. I hope something here will impact a life in a postive way. Link below.

Here’s to giving respect the other 11 months, too!
Here’s an easy way to celebrate black history month… each time you stop at a stop light, remember Garrett Morgan, the son of slaves, who invented them!

There’s absolutely no way that we can celebrate our history in just 28 days. There are not enough days in a calendar year to highlight all we’ve done over the years.
Imagine how much more could have been done had it not been for the slave trade. Delayed but not denied.
Don’t stop shaping history, making history, and celebrating our history-making achievements so we don’t ever forget from whence we came. Peace

Manchild, you have a gift of expression. I cannot add to your comment except to say I feel ya!

while it is a shortcoming of the number of days our history has a chance to ‘officially’ celebrate, i still think it’s cool that those days can also provide motivation for all of us to continue spreading the knowledge. i mean, in this web 2.0 world, information spreads like wildfire. we should use the history lesson black history month offers and find creative ways to continue the irrigation.
we’re trying over at ybpguide.com as best we can.
