GOP3.com:The Triumvirate

Milwaukee is a nice city. The summer fest is off the hook. It is a beer town, Lew Alcindor and Oscar Robinson played there, look it up. I never expected to find a conservative blog there. These guys have a nice blog and used the politically correct word for black , African American. Wow, black news on a conservative blog! What a great country. I discovered Lewis Bulter is the first African American on the state’s Supreme Court. I kept looking for the Iraq pull out strategy or news on the impeach George Bush movement but I did not find the post. Check it out, link below.

In Washington, Could there be a bigger story on the cornor of M street and Wisconsin ave, than The Georgetown Hoyas.I would have talked a little basketball in the opening paragraph but Marquette got spanked yesterday.

In 1983, Georgetown won the NCAA tournament and the Coach was John Thompson. I do not think any college basketball team was as loved by the black community than those Hoyas. White folk hated the team but John Thompson became the first and maybe only black head coach to win the national Championship.

Now Georgetown has a chance to win again. Many experts say the Hoyas are the hottest team in the nation. The Coach? John Thompson III, the former coaches son. What a potential lagacy.Coach Thompson of the 80’s made sure his players graduated. I hope his son follows in his foot steps, both on and off the court.

Nolan Richardson (Arkansas, 1994) and Tubby Smith (Kentucky, 1998) have also won the National Championship.

George, thanks for the update, I should have looked it up and I do remember Nolan’s win and you helped recall Tubbys. I think he was in his 2nd year at Kentucky.
