Meme, goals, success
How do you pronounce meme, is it all about me. I have been tagged again to talk about what makes me a success overall, and what makes me a successful blogger, plus blog about my goals. In the earlly 70’s Eddie Harris and Les McCan did a classic recording called, “Compared to What,” I am a success, compared to what? For me success is like AA, one day at a time. For every day I feel like a success, I have more days I feel like a failure. As far as goals, I am retired man! and have been since, 1-31-05. I have a pension and as the saying goes enough money to last the rest of my life, As long as I die tonight!
I do not consider myself a successful blogger, I am ranked around 54000 in the world, for Technorati, it is my understanding there are 65,000,000 blogs and web sites ranked. I was excited for 2 days when I entered the top 50,000 but my blogs that are linked dropped from 83 to 71 and now 74. So help me out and add me to your blog roll particularly if you think some of my business insights would benefit your readers. So compared to when I had no links, and and no ranking. I have been more successful.
Why; I have a lot of experience in the subject matter. I am black and I have worked successfully in business for decades. I enjoy debate, I love community, I have something to say, I read a lot, I have traveled the world, I enjoy controversy, I have great role models as fellow bloggers. I do not fear failure, I have grown. I enjoy it, I want to do well. It is terrible to have so much I in writting but remember this is all about me.
Why successful in business, I have successful friends, I try to always see the glass half full, I try to improve myself and not worry about what I cannot control, I work hard to understand, how I can benefit others, I am a coach, I love the action, I am a competitor, I want to be great. I refuse to listen to negative people. I celebrate small victories, I want my family to live well. My self esteem has grown due to being a success.I make it fun.
Goals, Do onto others as you would have them do on to you, That has been a leadership philosophy, and it ha s served me well. My goals have changed and are in a constant state of review and change. I am at a point in life where many of. my goals have been met so I will speak more about blogging goals than life time goals.
I want to move into the top 20000 bloggers by year end. I want to book a speaking engagement byFeb 08. I want to have a blackin community of authors to position a blog magazine dealing with black issues.This is somewhat software depended but it will work.I want my executive search business to expand by the end of 2008.I will want to sell this search firm for 7 figures in 10 years.

Great post! It always a goal of mine to surrond myself with successful or successful-mind individuals. Even though I’m new to the blogging world, that philosophy will be no different in the cyber world!

Nice post James, n actually it is great to kow about your goals. Well I wish more of success, and pretty fast inclusion in Technorati top 1000 blogs. I have learned few times about your search business, but I could’nt find the website for that.
And now as I even learned that you coach, I am eagerly waiting to get my online business really moving with your shear knowledge and business experience.
