Bloggers Choice Awards
I have been nominated for best business blog and I am deeply touched. Thanks Doug. There are some incredible blogs and some great business minds. My goal is to reach people like me, Ordinary People wanting extraordinary success. I post for people whom may not complety fit the mold of success. People with talent but have never been sure how to bets express their desire to do great things. Many of us may be the only ones in our families to complete college. We do not take success for granted and sometimes wonder why us, when we see friends struggle through life. We are not alway comfortable around other achievers because they are too perfect. We are proud to be rough around the edges and to have blue colar roots. The road traveled has been far different but the destination is the same. If ypu are one of us, vote for me. Yes there are more compelling business blogs, but do they speak for and to you. Keep Hope alive! Please see the link below for instructions and how to vote.

Hey! I tried to vote for you but I didn’t see you on the list!

You bet, JD. You know we don’t always agree but your passion and transparency is something that brings you great respect and admiration - from me as well as other readers.
I have learned much from your blog and it’s truly changing my perception on issues that I can not possibly relate to. Yours is an important blog, JD! I thought so the first day we spoke and the first post you made.
I actually personally wrote the Blogger Awards and asked them why they did not have a Minority Category. They said it was too late this year but it’s something they will definitely consider next year! No doubt you’ll be the winner if that category comes to fruition.
Your Friend,
Doug

Theo, Now that’s what I’m talking about! Thanks for your support, there are some amazing business blogs but there are very few that can speak from a black perspective.

Jim, I’d love to vote for you for this award, but I’m nervous about giving out my birthdate and postal code when this site really does not need my vital information. Just know that I feel you deserve the award.

Robyn, I saw that and found it hard to understand why. Your respect means as much or more than a vote
