It is time for Senator Clinton to Step Down From The Race, A Blogging Day For Justice!

I said the race was over after the Potomac Primary. I understood why Clinton stayed in the race, to see how Texas and Ohio went. She did well and appears well positioned in Pennsylvania. She had the audacity to mention Barack as her VP. All the while she is behind in popular vote, states won and delegates. I still understood her staying in the race, wishing for a blunder. She thought she had her wish when, Reverend Wright’s controversial few sentences uttered, after a 30 plus year run of being a respected Preacher and church leader, were made an issue. Barack’s brilliant speech on race despite a luke warm response from pundits has moved his poll ratings back up. “So,” using Dick Cheney’s charm, there has been no blunder by Barack.
There has been a blunder of a high magnitude by Mrs. Clinton that the Democratic Party and the American people should shout out against. I would like to use the word bitch but I cannot disrespect the Senator, so I will not. Senator Clinton lied about her trip to Bosnia. Her fantasy of arriving under sniper fire is being spun as a misstatement. I have been around gunfire, I have taken a friend shot to the hospital, 2 of my college roommates were shot, I have had a gun pulled on me. Those types of episodes are not to be forgotten. So far the white media is letting her off the hook. Hillary said she visited 79 countries, and misspoke. Ok, Hillary, which country did you face sniper fire upon arrival? Let us know. It will be hard because it only exists in your head. Hillary, I question 2 things, your judgment, several people on your trip to Bosnia have said you are full of BS. If you have to lie, make sure no one can refute your fantasy. If you lied about something so trivial, what else have you lied about? How can we trust you?
The Afrosphere Action Coalition has an online petition urging Hillary to step down now. I have signed and urge you to. I am experiencing difficulty in linking, so I would like my friend Yobachi to comment and leave us a link. Visit Black Perspective for more insight as to why Hillary must step down!

Esq, I approved your comment but it did not show up, thanks for the visit and sorry about the lost comment

JD, I will sign the petition and agree with you and Villager that it isn’t mathematically possible for Hillary to clinch the nomination. There was a time when I viewed her in the same light as Mike Huckabee which was that its her right to stay in just like Huckabee did even though she can’t win. But now I am seeing her differently.

Huckabee at least I think wanted to improve his party by staying in the race. However, the longer that Hillary stays in this thing the more she begins to look like a Kamize pilot who doesn’t care who gets hurt democrat or republican as long as she hurts Senator Obama.

Thanks for the visit and the comment, JD.

It looks like it is going to be up to us to make sure Senator Clinton and the Democratic party get the idea about what will happen if the Super Delegates hand her the nomination despite how people have voted.

  7. Manchild Says:

    Hello JD,

If the truth be told, Hillary Clinton has self-destructed on more than one occasion. As you know, power concedes nothing without a struggle. Her desperate actions speak louder than her empty words.

President Barack Obama is the only candidate who’s walking, talking, and acting presidential. As evidenced by the way he’s running his “highly effective” 2008 Presidential Campaign, he is more than ready to lead America out of the darkness.

JD, I celebrate and applaud you for all that you do.

    Manchild

I believe she should step down but her backers, - the wealthy who run the party - let’s not kid ourselves on this are not going to go down without a fight ,and are not likely to give in to public opinion this time around.

Eventually they will realize one thing, the internet changes the dynamics and their money means less now than it did four years ago. In the future it will mean much less…we have Obama’s stellar online fund raising show to thank for this.

This may eventually let loose that grip that certain groups have always had on the Democratic Party .

  9. MrsGrapevine Says:

Good point, if she misspoke or mixed memories, then in which country did she dodge bullets

  10. JD Says:

Cooper, thanks for your comment and insight. It was Howard Dean that demostrated small doners in quanity can deliver large revenue over the internet. Barack took fund raising to record levels. But you are right, there will be no quit unless Clinton’s PA showing is dismal

  11. Jim Walton Says:

Benin, hey brother, I hope you are doing well, I think of you often. Thanks for your comment and signing the petition. We can make a difference.

  12. Jim Walton Says:

Gunfighter, my man, we are becoming a force and I am glad to be along for the ride. There is so much we can learn by watching the dynamics of this race, no pun intended. Thanks for your visit

  13. Jim Walton Says:

Manchild, you have said it all and I know your comment comes with deep thought. I agree and Senator Clinton can recover but she has a lot to lose if she continues the Tonya Harding strategy.

  14. Jim Walton Says:

Mrs Grapevine, thanks for your visit and comment. It seems like the media is letting her slide on this lie.

  15. Benin Says:

Hi JD, thanks for what you do in the community. No problem on the petition it was the right thing to do.

    JD
One would think that if they were being shot at - they’d never forget the when and where. I mean, how often does an adult crap their pants?
As you said, if Hillary (the bitch - I said it for you) can lie, fabricate, embellish, invent stories - how can we trust her? We can’t.
She should gracefully bow out of the race - but no, she’s hell bent on dragging this on and on and on - to what end?
    Pathetic, simply pathetic.

  17. Francis L. Holland Says:

I’ve been in countries that were at war (Nicaragua); a country with a violent military dictatorships (Chile, 1981, ‘82, ‘83) and a country with riots (the USA). I can tell you exactly where I was when I and my friends and family were in danger and I could take you to the exact spots now, and eventually back up my contentions with newspaper accounts and passport stamps, if necessary. I can tell you precisely where I was when we were shot at with water canons in downtown Santiago.

How is it that the most powerful woman in the United States cannot tell us with specificity what countries she went to, when, and when she was under sniper fire? I would think that the US Secret Service retains records of these incidents, when first ladies are under fire.

And so, we have to conclude that Hillary Clinton’s stories are simply bullshit, until she provides some proof for each of her contentions. If she says she’s been to 80 countries, may we please see a list of these countries, with dates and times and lengths of stay?

  18. Jim Walton Says:

Morgan, you have been right about Hillary all along. she has been caught in another mistatement. If Barack wins in Pa, she will be left with little choice but to step down

  19. Jim Walton Says:

Esq Holland, it is unreal how she was allowed to slide on this. Thanks for your poigant unforgettable stories of intrigue

  20. MorganLighter Says:

    Jim,
Now the witch has fired here chief strategist, Mark Penn. Sure they say he resigned - horsecrap - he got fired!
Here’s a quote from the Washinton Post:

“Penn had been a polarizing figure within the Clinton campaign for months because of his personality as well as his strategic vision, but his departure came as a result of another continuing controversy — the conflicts of interest that resulted from his representing major clients as president of Burson-Marsteller, the giant public relations firm, while working for Clinton.

“Last week, the Wall Street Journal reported that Penn had met with Colombia’s ambassador to the United States to discuss promotion of a free-trade agreement, one that Clinton opposes. Penn apologized Friday for an “error in judgment,” and the Colombian government responded a day later by firing Burson-Marsteller.

“Clinton and her husband, Bill Clinton, were furious with Penn for going to the meeting, campaign officials said. Trade has been a divisive issue in the Democratic race and a particularly significant one in Pennsylvania, the next state on the primary calendar. The senator from New York has pledged to take a “timeout” from free-trade agreements until their impact on the United States becomes clearer.”

So what’s she going to do now? Make it up as she goes along - oops - she’s already been doing that - duck, there’s snipers!
